Gene started his printing career as a sophomore in high school when a friend convinced him to take a graphics art class. He enjoyed the class so much that he entered the industry and opened his own commercial printing company at 26 years old.

His company experienced rapid growth and during the late 1990’s was ranked the fastest growing printer in the state of Georgia and the 7th fastest growing printer in the nation. Several years later, Gene sold his company to a nationally recognized consolidator, but remained president for another 10 years to guide the company’s growth and direction. Gene left the company in 2012 to join forces with ProGraphics, becoming part of the ProGraphics’ management team.

Gene is very well respected in the printing industry and brings vast knowledge and experience to ProGraphics. He has been married for 25 years, and he and his wife have 3 wonderful children. When Gene is not involved with printing, he enjoys wood work or general aviation in which he holds multiple certificates and ratings. His positive attitude and get it done approach fit well with the “Whatever it takes” philosophy at ProGraphics.
